About NorthLight Anglican – Lives Transformed by Jesus’ Grace

Since the beginning of April 2019, St Matthew's West Pymble and All Saints' West Lindfield have partnered together. We share a similar passion for connecting with the people our local area, growing as disciples of Jesus, and serving one another.

OUR MISSION

"Lives Transformed by the Grace of Jesus Christ"

There is no greater joy for a Christian than to see someone come to meet Jesus for the first time. Everyday the work at NorthLight is to build towards that joy, to see more and more people come to know the saving grace that Jesus Christ offers. We not only want to be a church that worships Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, but a church that is constantly being transformed in our day to day lives by the grace shown to us on the cross, seeing others transformed by that grace as well.

We have a vision that the members of Northlight would be a part of seeing people come to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, but we don't want to stop there. We are convinced the gospel of Jesus is of such great importance that our greatest call as Christians is to share the gospel with the world. Knowing that it is the Holy Spirit at work empowering us to do this with joy, conviction and endurance.

To Connect, To Grow and To Serve

How do we plan to see lives transformed through the grace of Jesus Christ? The plan is simple, to pray with vigour that God would give us the opportunity and privilege to connect with people that do not yet know his grace. That we would then have the joy of seeing them grow in the knowledge and love of him, seeing him as Lord and Saviour, living life with a transformed heart, and that through this journey we would then have the privilege to serve along side them as they connect with more brothers and sisters within the Christian community.

The plan is simple, but the vision is daunting. There has never been a better time to start this mission, as a church and as a follower of Jesus! So let us pray that through Christ's blessing we would be a joyful part of the mission of God and strive to partner with him to see his children called home and forgiven!

The NorthLight Prayer to be transformed by Grace

Glorious Father, Transform us through the grace of Jesus Christ and by the power of the Holy Spirit. Bring us to a mature faith, so that we persevere in loving you with all our heart, and loving our neighbours as ourselves, to your glory.
