In our Schools & Universities
Turramurra Christian Education Association (TCEA) provides Special Religious Education (SRE) at Turramurra High School, our local secondary school. Through trained teachers, TCEA teaches students about the Bible and the Christian faith, encouraging them to ask questions, think carefully, and see the Bible as one connected story. TCEA also supports youth programs like Insight, which give teenagers encouragement, community, and ongoing care outside the classroom.
Killara District Christian Education Association (KDCEA)
Killara District Christian Education Association (KDCEA) provides Special Religious Education (SRE) at Killara High School and Lindfield Learning Village. Led by Coordinator Ecashia Jacob, a team of volunteer Scripture teachers helps students explore the Bible and the Christian faith, runs a lunchtime group, and encourages thoughtful questions and understanding.
Dan and Helen King
Dan King is married to Helen and has three children: Nate, Micah, and Eva. Dan, previously a member of Northlight, has been sharing the Gospel with international students at Monash University since 2006 with the Australian Fellowship of Evangelical Students (AFES). Students sharing their faith in Jesus with other students is the heart of AFES and Dan’s work.

Living Water Community Fellowship
Living Water Church was planted in Redfern in 2014 by Northlight parishioners and isnow based at 587 Elizabeth Street. The church has developed ministries including youth,Yarn Up, park gatherings, and kids’ programs, with a strong commitment to ministry among Aboriginal people. Its vision is to see more people meet Jesus, nurturing faith and building a caring Christian community.
Lightning Ridge Community Church
Lightning Ridge Community Church serves the distinctive mining town of Lightning Ridge, a diverse community shaped by opal mining and tourism. Kurt Langmead, with wife Bec and their 5 children, has ministered there since 2020, sharing the gospel and building Christ’s Church. The Bush Church Aid Society (BCA) provides financial support to Lightning Ridge Community Church. Northlight has run annual missions to Lightning Ridge for 23 years to support the church and its communities.
Heather Robinson

Heather, originally a member of Northlight, first visited Lightning Ridge with the Welcome Week team in 2019 and moved there in 2021 as Children’s Ministry Team Leader. She serves the church and local schools, leading ROCKgarden, SRE, SUPA Club, DIG, and preschool Bible Time. Passionate about helping children and families build their lives on Christ, she also supports the annual Welcome Week mission.

Moore Theological College
Moore College is an Anglican theological college in Sydney that equips men and women for faithful Christian ministry in Australia and worldwide. It has trained most Sydney Anglican clergy and many leaders across denominations. Graduates serve as pastors, chaplains, missionaries, and educators, grounded in deep biblical understanding, theological clarity, and practical ministry skills.
GAFCON
Global Anglican Future Conference. A global family of authentic Anglicans standing together to retain and restore the Bible to the heart of the Anglican Communion. GAFCON Australia is part of a global Anglican fellowship committed to upholding the authority of Scripture, historic Anglican doctrine, and faithful gospel witness. It promotes vibrant orthodoxy through conferences, seminars, publications, and online resources. GAFCON Australia also supports churches and individuals who stand against false teaching, recognising and encouraging those aligned with the Jerusalem Declaration.
Gideons
The Gideons International is a global Christian ministry committed to sharing the gospel by freely distributing Bibles and New Testaments. Founded in 1899, it partners with local churches to place Scriptures in hotels, schools, hospitals, prisons, and military settings. Through personal witnessing and Scripture distribution, Gideons seek to lead people to faith in Jesus Christ.

Anglicare
Anglicare supports people in need across NSW through practical care and compassionate service. It provides emergency relief, food and financial assistance, counselling, foster care, help for families experiencing hardship, aged care, retirement living, and home care services that promote dignity and wellbeing. Partnering with local churches and volunteers, it cares for the whole person—materially, emotionally, socially, and spiritually—sharing Christ’s love in action.
Caring for the Needy across the World
The Freedom Project
Fighting slavery in India, Africa and Southeast Asia. Founded in 2010 by members of Northlight, The Freedom Project emerged from a deep burden to confront human trafficking and modern slavery. Today, it is a growing global Christian movement advancing prevention, rescue, and restoration, transforming lives, empowering communities, addressing poverty, and bringing justice, hope, and freedom to vulnerable people in the Philippines, Thailand and Kenya.
Sunshine Cambodia
Sunshine Cambodia is a Christian organisation serving children and families in poverty across Phnom Penh and rural communities. Its vision is to bring hope and build brighter futures through education and holistic support. Sunshine helps children thrive at school, equips parents with practical life and financial skills, and strengthens communities through improved sanitation, local school partnerships, and church engagement.
Amy Stephens
Amy Stephens, previously a member of Northlight, serves in Córdoba, Argentina with Church Missionary Society (CMS), partnering with ABUA, the IFES student movement. She equips university students to know, follow, and share Jesus through weekly Bible studies and one-to-one discipleship. Her ministry connects and strengthens Christian students for gospel witness on campus, longing to see lives transformed and future leaders raised for Christ across Argentina and beyond.
