In Genesis 27:1–46 we meet Isaac’s deeply fractured family—parents playing favourites, brothers deceiving and grasping for blessing. Far from a neat, “model” home, this is a story of lies, manipulation and pain. Yet right in the middle of this dysfunction, God’s purposes quietly move forward. In this sermon, “God and the Dysfunctional Family,” we explore how God works through messy people and broken relationships, and how his grace can meet us in the chaos of our own families today.
